New Community Beat Officer for Potterne - PC 1603 Anne DEUCHARS
Following my attendance at the recent annual Parish meeting I have been made aware of a particular problem of nuisance behaviour. I have received several reports that local people have been the victims of Eggs being thrown at their windows. I am aware that on at least one occasion a window has been broken, and at least one person is suffering this attack on what appears to be quite a regular basis. The local school has even been subject to this.
It now appears that the eggs were being stolen from a local supplier, and there has been a further incident on the Sunday night of the 2nd 3rd May. One dozen eggs were stolen and then used to throw at the school premises and a residential premises in HIGHLANDS.
I am appealing to locals who may have knowledge of who the culprits are, or may have witnessed one of the previous incidents. I am also interested to know if anyone else has been victim of egg throwing.
