POTTERNE TRAFFIC SURVEY

Carried out on Wednesday December 6th 2000 between 0700 and 1900 (too early for Christmas traffic and market day is Thursdays!)

The village sits astride the A360 from Devizes to Shrewton; traffic also enters the village from Worton and other villages to the west; the Whistley road is a short cut which enables traffic to by pass Devizes. Hence the village is plagued by heavy traffic; it is unfortunately, a fact of every day life.
