Draft Health Strategy:
The sub committee had met to discuss the strategy and they were awaiting clarification from Kennet District Council and then will report back to the next Parish Council meeting on their comments.Highlands Wall: Mr Hoddinott had been in contact with Mr Willmott, the County Councillor and a meeting between the County Council, the District Council and Parish Council would be arranged as soon as possible. At present there is a member of Wiltshire County Councils highway team on sick leave, although he is expected back shortly, and his previous knowledge needs to be sought before the meeting takes place.
Annual Parish Meeting: There has been no response to the advertisement in the Parish magazine concerning the agenda for the meeting. Another advert will be placed in this month's magazine.
Footpath into Devizes: The Parish Council voiced their disappointment in Wiltshire County Council following calls to Clarence and responses by Mr Amer to clear the footpaths of wet leaves that had built up leaving it difficult for pedestrians.
Amenity skips: The Clerk reminded the Parish Council that the amenity skip service run by Kennet District Council was to end in March of this year. Residents could still get large items collected at a charge or take unwanted household items to the recycling centres.
Footpath 47, off Footpath 50: A letter from a resident who said that Wiltshire County Council had not taken action against the landowner to re-instated the footpath to its original width as promised some time back. The lady has asked for the support of the Parish Council.
Community Emergency Volunteers: Mr Hobbs said that he had received a letter informing him of some training sessions, which he hoped to attend. Other people were welcome to attend if they wished, although places were limited.
RoSPA: Play equipment inspection: It was unanimously agreed to ask Rospa to carry out the play equipment inspection at Blounts court again this year.

A copy letter to Wiltshire County Council had been received from a resident of Court Hill who was asking what progress had been made to install a handrail as promised some time ago.
