Housing Survey:
The Clerk had obtained a copy of a questionnaire that could be provided by Carol Southall, Housing Enabler at Community First. This questionnaire could be produced and then collated by Carol Southall and a report of the findings given to the parish. The Parish Council would be responsible for the questionnaires distribution and collection. It was agreed that the Council would form a task group to take this project further. Any members of the Council that are interested in taking this forward should attend the meeting arranged on 23rd February in the village hall.Wilts Highways Partnership: Weight Restriction - Potterne to Worton Road, C246:i Mr Roger Wiltshire, Chairman of Worton Parish Council attended the meeting so that a short discussion on the way forward could take place. It was agreed that both parishes should work together to carry out a survey of traffic over a number of days. Mr Wilshire will contact Mr Hoddinott when he has some dates.
Steps leading from St Marys to A360: These steps are overgrown with foliage again and the Clerk was asked to write to Sarsen Housing Association to ask for the steps to be cleared.
Pavement to Devizes: The path on both sides of the road into Devizes is in need of clearing. As the County Councils Parish Lengthsmen will not tackle the job Mr Hoddinott suggested that the Parish Cleansing Grant be used to employ someone to carry out this much needed work, enabling pedestrians to use the full width of the paths.
WCC : Mobile Library Service: The mobile library service for Potterne remains unaltered for the foreseeable future.
ODPM: Freedom of Information Act 2000: The letter received from ODPM informing parishes of the extension to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and authorising the Clerk to any Council to be the primary authorised qualified person when dealing with the Act.
KDC: Provisional tree preservation order, Blounts Court Lodge & Woodstock: No written objections or representations have been received regarding the serving of the Order, therefore the Order was confirmed on 25 January 2005.
